Ok so I have a job soon that having an auger will make lots easier so I looked into hiring one but I like to buy stuff so searching around I found this one seems really good price but whether it's any good is the question other option would be a second hand one https://www.daynescape.co.uk/collections/accessories/products/hydraulic-auger-motor-and-bit
Looks like Chinese crap. Probably doesn't even have a planetary set in it.

Basically, either Digga or AugerTorque. Nothing else in the UK comes close.

I can offer you a good deal for a Digga with forum discount but will still be double that price i am afraid.

Was in a similar position last year but ended up hiring an auger torque was 200 or so for nearly 3 weeks

I bought an auger torque x1500 and 6 inch auger last year, ex display but unused, never had oil in, you really wouldn't have known it wasn't 100% new. £1450 delivered from Mouse Valley. I've happily run it on my mini loader, micro digger and 1.5 ton. Not got much experience to compare it with but I'm very pleased with it

Bought my auger from Paul Peacock after a positive experience buying my pecker from him . Unbeatable advice and service and very sensible on price.
I've known Paul since he had a tool hire shop in Aber in the early 80,s ... used to use him a bit and always found him easy to deal with ... My mate Serge (the genny man) worked for Paul for years and can tell a few stories - mostly hilarious :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Paul's OK ..... and well established (y)
