" The firm, which reported an operating loss of almost £210 million, is jointly owned by Goldman Sachs’ West Street Infrastructure Partners and private equity firm, Antin, which are both based in tax havens, Delaware and Luxembourg respectively. "
HTF can they remain in business trading with these sorts of losses ... Oh wait they've close on a billion quidsworth of contracts tucked in their belts as leverage
another cesspit of rotting fish waiting to emerge from the mire
and another for prosecution
totally, utterly agree ... as said previously .....THEY KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING!!Ep 2 boils my piss thread it absolutely stinks. These ***** should be taken out not down
Do not confuse the crap from Royal Mail as the Post Office. 2 separate and different organisations!!What an absolute clusterfk.
Tbh dint know about anyone else but it's high time the whole Royal mail crap show had a kicking had a 1st letter with SIM card that was due Christmas eve ..turned up last week. HTF is that even a service. Another monopoly of overpaid idiots getting paid by us ultimately.like water companies...
And before anyone says oh it's all Tories ..Blair was warned in 99 .
And if I’m not mistaken Starmer was the Director of Public Prosecutions at the time also. And before anyone says oh it's all Tories ..Blair was warned in 99 .
They believed that they had cracked the fraud detection code!! Then after spending an extortionate amount of money those at the top where blind to the obvious!!I haven't seen the horizon documentary yet but when I first heard about this a while back my first thought was between 2000-2015i think nearly 900 sub postmasters were prosecuted? That averages more than one conviction a week over that time period and no one saw anything abnormal about this pattern, just a pure coincidence of fraud!? Of course not.

We have just had to get some documents signed, the list contained postmasters.
Documents were being signed by a profession that was 1/3 fraudsters? If this was true, why not take them off list?
The powers to be have not got a handle on anything.
Anyone with shotgun/firearm certificates will have endured the nonsense of needing referees of good standing in the community etc. There's no real criteria. There are total rogues out there doing it. Penpushing and windowdressing.
I'll bet my left nut that the covid inquiry 'winesses' and all involved, are rejoicing at the diversion the PO fiasco/scandal/travesty has created ... completely taken the media heat off them - for now at least. The next big Goverment scandel in the next 10 years is going to be Coronavirus lockdowns and vaccine it will start with where did 200 billion go then its will be all the excess deaths who knew what and when .Its already started in the USA that is if we get over Disease X they think they have found the vaccine but have not made disease X yet
Disease X vaccine ‘could be ready within 100 days of new threat emerging’
Researchers will also seek ways to speed up manufacture of jabs so vaccines could be rolled out more quickly in the event of a future outbreak.www.independent.co.uk
Am I the only one who hasn't got a short memory?I'll bet my left nut that the covid inquiry 'winesses' and all involved, are rejoicing at the diversion the PO fiasco/scandal/travesty has created ... completely taken the media heat off them - for now at least.
as you say the big(ger) Q.s are gonna be where did all the money go and even more importantly to who and who knew what, when and way before anyone admitted to anything
I really do not believe the sheeples are gonna get duped so easily next time
Mate has just told us that this scheme cost 9 millon- for 20 vans, for 3 months!!! Seems like great value to me...Was talking to a mate on Friday who works for TFL (nice work if you can get it, they look after there own...).
He was asked to run his eye over a project another department are running:
They are concerned the new fixed ULEZ cameras will be vandalised, so-
They plan to rent a fleet of electric vans, big ones, fitted with ULEZ cameras, park them at certain locations to catch anyone with the cheek to drive their own car on certain roads, then put a bloke in each van to guard it!
Total cost about a million quid apparently...
Not working for TFL I was able to suggest a couple of real world money saving solutions:
Use smaller, therefore cheaper, electric vans!! Just put the camera on a pole on the roof if it needs to be up high, can't see why, numberplates are Normally visible from ground level
Or, slightly Tongue in cheek- buy a fleet of non ulez compliant vans, they're dirt cheap now for some reason!!, leave them just outside the boundary, save an absolute fortune on vans!
Or, and this is the most sensible-
HAVE THE BLOKES GUARDING THE MOBILE CAMERAS GUARD THE ORIGINAL FIXED CAMERAS!!!! No need for any vans full of cameras! Sorry that's just too simple isn't it, and saves a literal fortune, can't be having that.
No wonder every government goes over budget and over time ffs
To be fair to my mate he knows almost all TFL decisions are incompetent twaddle but he's not daft and knows which side his breads buttered. We do make sure to give him a hard time about his choice of career though
