neither did the Ovlov ... some strange two position set up on the foot brake .... don't always lock me brakes on't 'Drema, forking about ... you'd soon remember on they Ovlovs though

On an atlas (well all the ones I had(3 in total) had a three position switch. off, on with the brake pedal and on permanent, the case I had was on or off the same as the Daewoo

mine is on the dash .... no auto on the pedal, so no OMG moments when you drop the brakes off and over she goes on a corner ..... and you soon learn to remember to lock 'em ... becomes automatic

I am learning!! I had an Hitachi zero swing on hire for a day and found that quite a step up to get into the cab. Do you guys in ducks have rope ladders to get that high up?

Well the view has changed this morning, despite my new knowledge on ducks I haven’t been tempted to try and have a conversation with the driver. It would seem everyone is back from there hols as machinery is moving!!

Been a busy boy doing a large house foundation in the village. Drop off little Un at school and be at work for 9am!! Unfortunately the pic taking has been completely forgotten but will add some next week. Timber Frame has turned up and there is suddenly a house!!

I did add this little weapon to the attachment collection!!

Well having the flail has been great but I missed the tilt and rotate so much I finally took a bite out of the wallet and had this done. I think Mr V8Druid first went me the details about 2 years ago but now it has finally been done!!!

Would the tilty not operate just tee’d into that line (pinching flow off the flail)? Genuine question, I don’t know the answer!

You and V8 are right. I also have a post knocker and you only want flow to that when you press the button!,

I’ve only closed that manual tap to change a leaking fitting.
The engcon is plugged into 1/2 inch fittings & svab controls any flow the Engcon needs.
The 3/4 inch fittings I plug the flail into.
In the cab I’ve wired the original takeuchi breaker wiring into the mig 2 joysticks so can click on a detent button to stay on or hold on or off as needed.

TBH I doubt it.

Flails are flow hungry. The tilt circuit needs 7LPM, but the rotation requires 20LPM. You could probably put up with the flail slowing down while the tilty rotates, but it would be a pain. What's your view, Aiden? @CPS

Theres a few ways of doing it, but I think running the flail by just "t" ing in wont work great. Part of the flow will just flow through the tiltly even if no function is selected. It will work but I think you'll lose part of the flow.

I did this one recently, the guy wanted to occasionally use his breaker. Connect it up switch the valve over and oil goes straight to the hammer

Well the diverter works. It will take some getting used too!! The engine Revs need to be flat out to power the flail. My service for the flail and the ENGCON is the proportional foot pedal, so when you are using the flail with the foot to the floor on the pedal you have to get used to coming off the pedal when you want to use the ENGCON or it is a bit jerky at full revs. Still for the old digger and basic ENGCON system I have I am happy that it still reduces the amount of manual work I have to do around the farm and opens up another line of work. It is not going to compete with tractor and flail but will get to places where they won’t!!

Speak To Roy Wakeham. He's got a T/2 way ball valve on his bobcat with rototilt. Works well.

Shaun has the same thing Rory, but electrically operated .... no in/out the cab changing over .... just flick a switch

tha's a simple on/off ball valve though isn't it Aiden .... closes the tilty off completely??
