I’m getting 22mpg mixed use mainly towing hard from my 3.2 2013 ranger. Which is pretty good in my book. Works out at 4.88 miles per litre for comparison to your 2.2.2013 ranger 5.58 miles per litre. Mixed use.

I’ve seen a 130 Defender and double cab Hilux that have gone the same way., in the 90’s in Africa. At the time they didn’t derate load capacity but all of the deck was behind the axle. Couple that with bad roads….
