Just put four lifting eyes in the middle 2ft radius and get a really short set of brothers to keep on it
We have about 30 septic tanks / compact filter / treatment plants booked to do this year ... once we start them we travel around from job to job, it will get some use dont worryMy guess is he probably wishes he shared the design idea before he started. I like the concept. But I think the idea behind it is for the bigger house bashing contractors with 13 ton machines the forks to go plot to plot.
I think I will be carrying 3 bags of bends around the single plots I do for a while yet.
make a drop in spacer bar to stop 'em collapsing inwards, or even hinged so they don't go walkaboutGetting it off on the hookloader will be the tricky bit but yep maybe some that would do for 3t would maybe work, thing is with lifting eyes is the variable weight distribution depending on whats in it....and not easy to lift from each corner because the legs for the pipe rack part wouldn't last long being pulled inwards towards à central lift point.
Retractable ?![]()
and looks ultra-professionalThe dodgy site stak on a budget swung into town today(or yesterday)....It was actually a doddle to get off the skip and into a corner with 4 straps round it
saves a lot of time and effort carting individual fittings, pipe and tools around....and pipe holder for cutting is spot on
Had my doubts but will definitely save us some time and effort this summer.

Looks solid ....like you say needs a bit of space but if you have room its a no brainer, saves a lot of unloading and carting about , choose à spot swing it in and move on, and you can clearly see what you got of each angleI made this a couple of years ago after getting a quote from Sitestak.
Made to measure for crewcab Transit tipper body but also fits in racked out panel van.
Used a couple of post pallet stillages, mesh and sheet steel.
Mostly sits in the yard as we always seem to be on tight sites with no space...
Could you make it a 2 in 1? Grading beam with site stack on top. Would save room in the yardIt's the new grading beam![]()
I think I do too...... and I have absolutely no need for itI think I want one!!!
that is one expensive build .... Expamet is bloody pricey mesh ....View attachment 33941View attachment 33942View attachment 33940
just waiting to be galvanised. Can never have enough compartments. 15s 30s 45s 90s GTs Ys Ts
Made to fit out 18ft tiltbed so the pipes will sit at an angle and stuck out over the back
Should look the same in 10yrs time so no point scrimping.that is one expensive build .... Expamet is bloody pricey mesh ....
hope you've perforated all the sealed tube ends for venting and draining or they'll charge you a fortune to do it ....
gonna need one hell of a tank to dip that, even double dipped and will need a lot of welds to the mesh to keep it attached as it heats and cools .....
looks the biz

Venting and drainage of steel - Galvanizers Association
Where hollow sections are sealed they must be vented for reasons of safety so allowing the escape of air and the ingress and drainage of zinc during the dipping process. Vent holes are required at each sealed end either in the end plate or the section. Where holes are provided in end plates they...www.galvanizing.org.uk
Pffff I thought I had the biggest stak on the the forumShould look the same in 10yrs time so no point scrimping.
Haven't opened the steel bill yet
Yeah holes drill top and bottom. They'll drill extra holes depending on which way they dip it but don't charge for them if you've made a good effort yourself.
The bath is 1200mm x about 30ft long so will fit in sideways no bother. Made it 1100 high
Yeah the mesh may be some interesting shapes when it comes out![]()
Fancy making me one lol?
Site stack wanted 8k
This would be £1250 max with tools and clamp.
All on eBay under (post rack storage cage)
And website called metal cages in Liverpool
How did it turn out?Should look the same in 10yrs time so no point scrimping.
