project for you GezMy old man made a chamfering tool for 110 when I was still in primary school so a good 25 years ago , hes done a massive amount of drains over the years regularly have a artic load of pipes etc. tools still going strong he brings it out on every drain job. Simple hand held thing he tried selling the idea a few times years ago but never had any joy
Sounds interestingNobody seems to want a manual tool anymore even if it’s reliable and going to last
Like the idea and quite a saving on the site Stan.View attachment 32408
Nearly there ....bit of armco for the 'u' of a pipe holder works lovely and nips the pipe up and grips it when your mits on the pipe and push.
Made it into 5 mesh bins and the open end to put that plastic box we keep small fittings in.
Paint next and lifting eyes when I've messed about finding the best points to put them when it's loaded.
Might not be quite as posh as a "site stak" but it was 200€ a few rods, disks and a couple of rainy days messing.
Will test the concept for us without a 2k spend.
Left the wheels on because although not ideal on the job it means can you roll it around workshop.
Nope but then if 3t won't then the 8t should ....if not I'm bolloxed getting it to siteLike the idea and quite a saving on the site Stan.
just not sure the 1.7ton Kubota will be big enough to move it around!!![]()

Getting it off on the hookloader will be the tricky bit but yep maybe some that would do for 3t would maybe work, thing is with lifting eyes is the variable weight distribution depending on whats in it....and not easy to lift from each corner because the legs for the pipe rack part wouldn't last long being pulled inwards towards à central lift point.Make some hooks on it so it hooks over the blade it’ll be grand![]()
Retractable ?'til you bang yer shins on the bloody things![]()
