The 6600 has done a fair wack. Good little tool and has shifted a lot of muck on the job. But it's the machine either me or another one of the other operators jump on so if we are busy elsewhere on the job she stays parked. Keeps us flat out too, no work for the gangly reach and I jump on it and shift stone or muck.

Reserve manager (site is a country park) is doing stop motions.... Quite nice to see tbh.

Getting on well now, Been lining the reed beds this week. the 220 is light on the toes really :/

Visit from the JCB factory crowd today. They have restored a fair bit of faith that someone actually gives a s**t about quality in Staffordshire and hopefully have taken away some thoughts and opinions that may improve the machine.... No f****ng hat or overalls though, bribery is dead

She's good fun. Takes some getting used to really and not everyones cup of tea. But I really enjoy it. Hell of a tool, and if they get the finish right (which tbf they are trying hard to do) It'll be a weapon.

that's a pretty decent lift for that Rory, at that sort of reach !!

1t at full stretch inline with tracks.

To be very blunt she needs another 500kg - 1t on the counterbalance to be safe however. Whilst she can handle 1t at full stretch it's a fairly optimistic figure and i'd be of the opinion that any slight incline and your buggered. (I'm talking about requiring a piling mat level of flat). JCB have been told this so watch this space I am hopefully they will find some pig iron like a teletruk or a 3cx eco and smelt it down into a nice slice

Could it have a slab of steel fitted under the the back, rather than trying to fit it in between the counterweight and the upper frame?
