Nice to have an easy fix!
absolutely ...... really did not want to have to take the head off ...... they're lil' bar stewards to start after the heads been off usually.Nice to have an easy fix!
And a coat of brown paint no doubtcould also do with dropping the hitch off, onto the bench and 'tightening' it up a bit
Do they not have to wear hats and hivis etc? Seems nicely relaxedOn the road at 7 this morning .... Hereford's half an hour from here ..... hit the traffic queue at Belmont, outskirts of 'the 'Ford at 7.25 ...... rang Russ at 7.55, having travelled about 300 yds, to say i was gonna be late
first mile into the city is usually bad but unbelievable this morning .... and after three sets of lights it magically cleared and i rolled into Wiggins yard about 8.10, just in time to help Russ drop 7 falls onto the Lieb.
Guys there had got the first lift half out the door and by the time we'd rigged, it was ready for a 'flight'.View attachment 25409View attachment 25410

would not want to be buying the Phospor bronze valves either ..... or any of the other very 'spensive looking components
next three are for the ozzy navy apparently, in about a month's time
so anyone recognize this on me bench this afternoon ..... bright green bum and about 15mm across .... not seen one like it before ... and aggressive ... poked it with a finger and it reared up and had a go, instead of scuttling off in the other direction

Just about to write thisIf they had the big hiab there (I assume for unloading at the destination) then why did they need another crane Graham?
aye ..... belly full of tea last night and I was goooooone .... was a busy couple of hours and an early start for me after a very poor night's sleep ... zonked yesterday eveningKeeps you busy!
own site and do as they want .... none of the usual bollox ... I was 'togged' in me 'Jaffa' overalls, hi viz vest and bonce protector (for my own good - load was just the right height to crack yer head on) ...Do they not have to wear hats and hivis etc? Seems nicely relaxed

transport only booked ... just happened to send yon 8 wheeler ... 60t gantries at other end .... Russ has done quite a few of these and wanted me there, to speed things up yesterday ... had other things to do after lunch, rather than having a leisurely day, using their blokes to load with ... they devoted their energies to getting 'em out to us, whilst we 'charged on' getting 'em air borne and onto trailersJust about to write this
500 or possibly even 700 Liebherr ... need summat big for 175t liftOn the docks the other day. Came in to lift 175t.
Skates Jim .... gantry couldn't handle them as a lump ... lift a side at a time onto skates and bowl them out with a 4.5t Nissan FLT ... no real dramas ... everyone mucked in, once we'd got the first one airborne and were waiting on the trucks .... first one on about 9.30 and all on by 10.30 ...Also how were they bringing them out the door of factory? Gantry crane?
NoSo does anyone know what the spider was, with the luminous dayglo green bum ??
