I actually set my overalls on fire today whilst cutting some old bitumen-covered girders with a 9 inch grinder. I only realised as my bollocks started to feel warm (which was nice!!!)

Proban is spark proof and will only smoulder ... don't stand up well to continuous assault from a shower of concentrated grinder spatter though ... i know only too well from experience on multiple occasions
got plenty of pairs with the patches on, to prove it

Back at Edinburgh again and it keeps snowing. Sometimes quite hard. Typically I’m on my open machine, first time I’ve used it outdoors in months. Heated seat cover came into its own.

we've had it all today .... brilliant blue skies, sun, rain, sleet, white out snow flurries, howling gales and it's bitter ... car is white .. -1C ATM and feels more like minus 5 in the wind ... been sooooome day weather wise

7 this evening it was coming down so hard, horizontally in a 40mph S Westerly that we could not see out of the windows facing the wind ..... just sheets of water running down the windows like getting hit by a pressure washer with a humungous nozzle ... unreal quantities of rain all day, but that topped it all ..... and 'kin cold with it

Well at least we didn't get any white shiteBeen pretty much the same here, Friday started nice then started raining within a few minutes turned to snow and roads white, Saturday fine again, Sunday dull and showers, yesterday like @V8Druid as if someone was pressure washing the windows. This morning rain and sleet showers.
not looking forward to what they say we're getting next Sat./Sun. ....... much worse than yesterday's monsoon conditions ..... so much for "May flowers"
