Longer belt and a bracket to fit alternator. Just need to move bonnet back a further 6 inch againThe alternator is connected directly to the fan in a cowling so not as simplebut not had a proper look if another one can be fitted

or cut a hole in it for alternator to poke through

as for spending money on it I have a very tight budget basically the trailer it came on is going to fund it so stuck it on the bay to see what happens

, had to leave 2 bolts out of the bell housing (still 8 left though
) to clear the hydraulic oil tank
only need the oil cooler part
so the engine can be inserted and removed (hope it’s not coming out again)) so well pleased with it so farErm you can’t come anymore it’s going to weigh in at 10 tons and have 20tonner lift rams on it by times your doneNo not really, I like a challenge
trouble is it’s not going to look stock with this lump in as the engine is a lot bigger

What a pile of crap I’d be embarrassed to take it as scrap on my trailer
would have to go in a curtainsider to save face quite tidy inside shame it’s going to get covered in broken glass soon tracked it out from under me shed on tick over result (the Perkins needed to be flat out to move and would still pull the engine down to a stall) and without a whiff of smoke
be interesting Track her on weigh bridge when your done she if it’s now a 5.5toner

It’s going to need retracking soon as one of the steel inserts is escaping so keeping an eye out for some steel tracks the wider the better would like 5-600 wide
