Your amassing some kit - you spending your bounceback already
It might have helped!! Sold the manitou last year and put some of that into the Kobelco. The Kobelco has been fab but I am not keen on the block grab that we have been using and with some of the projects we have coming up the chance to add this almost as a dedicated materials handler seemed a good move. I am lucky that I am not the primary family earner so able to pile the money back into adding more kit.Your amassing some kit - you spending your bounceback already![]()

Don’t know what next year will bring so having some more flexibility that hasn’t broke the bank will hopefully keep me and the nephew busy enough!!
It would have been cheaper.....but doesn’t add any extra reach!!I could of sent you home with a nice hydraulic block grab.....
gonna have to be trying pretty bloody hard, or just plain stupid, to do that Rory ... 'Dremas are plantedAnyone want to enter the sweepstake for how long until it's on it's side?

totally agree ... older stuff, in decent condition are appreciating assets IMHDO, ATM ... there's a level at which they stop depreciating and start to gain againMoney in older quality kit like that is as good as money in the bank for a rainy day as far as I'm concerned.I kept my old forklift as a spare as I don't need £2k that bad- and it's there if I'm desperate.
as said ... all down to condition ... if it's decent and simple, it has a better value than a black box infested tool, that'll cost loads to fix, if faulty. Are we talking 1970s forklifts @V8Druid lol
No neccessarily yet, but I bet you wish you had a 1970s Range Rover or Roadless in the shed! Are we talking 1970s forklifts @V8Druid lol

Kind of the reason I keep my 15 year old van on the road. I don't do mega miles and unlikely to get any electrical gremlins so I stick with itas said ... all down to condition ... if it's decent and simple, it has a better value than a black box infested tool, that'll cost loads to fix, if faulty.
yeh well ... I had one and regret selling it ... one owner from new and a massive history ...... and that was a POP to keep 'fettled'No neccessarily yet, but I bet you wish you had a 1970sRange Rover or Roadless in the shed!
