Yea. I don’t mind one with a snapped chassis so long as the price is right- I’ll be wanting a trayback anyhow.

I borrowed a v6 auto d40 years ago to take a stripped car shell to scrapyard on my trailer. Damn thing couldn’t decide what to do when going uphill. Was either revving the nuts off it or changing up a gear and bogging down.

@Routy56 @Gunners . If your have a 2016-19 Navara check your top turbo hot pipe. Mine was leaking slightly and is a very common thing on this era due to the metal elbow not coping well with movement/heat expansion etc. not much point just replacing the seal apparently so found this modified new pipe with the rubber elbow instead... Nice little job to have done

A chap online had his leaking at 19k! Mine is on 115k and only just noticed it. Engine needs a bloody good clean after this dusty summerNow that is an excellent tip

I think I'm on my third now? First one went with under 5k on the clock. I have the new rubber hose version now. Its not perfect, never been quite sure why there's that much oil in a turbo pipe - usually a sign of a blown turbo to me but they all seem to do it....@Routy56 @Gunners . Mines been a good truck in fairness. A Nox sensor, and a couple of these silly hot pipes and honestly its been sound. Just traded mine in for something new thats cost 3 times the price the Navara did new, does half the mpg and might just bankrupt me if these diesel prices keep going the way they are!
The Navara's been a great work truck, wish they still sold them here. But alas, the pickup market is all but dead, and what's out there as an alternative isn't very exciting or reliable and they want twice the money for it!

We have a demo electric Hilux coming next month. Only 2.5t towing capacity though.
Might see about a demo of the hybrid ranger.

I rarely tow anything but might find something to tow with it on demo.
We do work a few times a year up in the Midlands and don't want to have to swap vehicles to do this so would prefer the ranger. But will be interesting to see how it works. I don't really need a pickup but don't want to drive a little van and I would trash the boot of a car. It would be nice if they made smaller pickups. The size of MK2 rangers or l200's. Would help range and be better in car parks

Don't think either of the dmax or Hilux can do more than 160 miles on a charge and that's the inflated on a Dyno best case mpg style figure plus they don't charge very fast but I'm fairly certain they qualify for 100% first year write off if brand new. Seems ironic that have seen a lot of Toyota ads for the battery Hilux and they are all in the middle of nowhere in artic conditions so bit misleading unless you have a generator somewhere.
The eterron has something like a 280 mile range but is absolutely useless if you want to tow 3.5t as it has 120kg spare weight for the pickup and that's before you sit in it.

That's the image it couldn't shake, same chassis and some parts, the lower models shared the engine, but better interior and most of the body parts are different, higher spec got a larger engine.
It didn't sell as well as they thought, as they pulled it but if they had done a full on AMG version like the g63 they would have been first on the scene and maybe a different story rather than people waiting for a second generation ranger raptor before a UK pickup got a decent high power petrol engine which in this country is something like 100bhp down on the aus version

No was based on the nissan chassis and probably some other bits swapped over but it's 70mm wider so no panels are the same. I think the biggest issue was it was always seen as an expensive nissan with Mercedes badges even though they don't look remotely similar I like the traffic/prime star/vivaro
