Yea. I don’t mind one with a snapped chassis so long as the price is right- I’ll be wanting a trayback anyhow.

I borrowed a v6 auto d40 years ago to take a stripped car shell to scrapyard on my trailer. Damn thing couldn’t decide what to do when going uphill. Was either revving the nuts off it or changing up a gear and bogging down.

@Routy56 @Gunners . If your have a 2016-19 Navara check your top turbo hot pipe. Mine was leaking slightly and is a very common thing on this era due to the metal elbow not coping well with movement/heat expansion etc. not much point just replacing the seal apparently so found this modified new pipe with the rubber elbow instead... Nice little job to have done

I'll check mine over the weekend and report back. Only done about 42k now and engine still looks like new

A chap online had his leaking at 19k! Mine is on 115k and only just noticed it. Engine needs a bloody good clean after this dusty summer

I think I'm on my third now? First one went with under 5k on the clock. I have the new rubber hose version now. Its not perfect, never been quite sure why there's that much oil in a turbo pipe - usually a sign of a blown turbo to me but they all seem to do it....
Mines been a good truck in fairness. A Nox sensor, and a couple of these silly hot pipes and honestly its been sound. Just traded mine in for something new thats cost 3 times the price the Navara did new, does half the mpg and might just bankrupt me if these diesel prices keep going the way they are!

The Navara's been a great work truck, wish they still sold them here. But alas, the pickup market is all but dead, and what's out there as an alternative isn't very exciting or reliable and they want twice the money for it!

We have a demo electric Hilux coming next month. Only 2.5t towing capacity though.
Might see about a demo of the hybrid ranger.
Or the dmax ev as that will tow 3.5t

I rarely tow anything but might find something to tow with it on demo.
We do work a few times a year up in the Midlands and don't want to have to swap vehicles to do this so would prefer the ranger. But will be interesting to see how it works. I don't really need a pickup but don't want to drive a little van and I would trash the boot of a car. It would be nice if they made smaller pickups. The size of MK2 rangers or l200's. Would help range and be better in car parks
