only if they're 'liquid withdrawal' type (i.e. designed for FLT use) all others are vapour discharge ... can get vapour out of FLT bottle if you stand it upside down or with the arrow facing up, on its side
conversely all vapour discharge will give liquid if stood upside down
's why you never lay a propane or DA bottle on its side if using it for oxy cutting - always stood up or you'll possibly/probably get a liquid discharge depending on how full/empty it is
CO2 bottles are similar some are vapour, others are liquid and have a dip tube to the very bottom of the cylinder - can usually hear it rattle when bowling them about.

FLT LPG is 18kg and has a clockwise male thread and dip tube and arrow. Normal Propane is 19kg bottles with no dip, and reverse thread female connection (POL) You could make a FLT work on Normal if you fabricated a hose and used the bottle vertically upside down I suppose!

I am trying to be sensible and making things easier to get to with the avant round the yard so you can just pick it up and load it on to the truck.

I've bought a POL to POL hose. I want to use it to fill my baby 3.9kg bottles from larger bottles.

Suggestions of safe procedure? Looking at Youtube they just turn the big bottle upside down and open the taps, flip flops and all. How do I know when its a safe fill weight, have it on scales?

I'm seriously tempted to buy one of those mini shipping containers that seems to be in every auction at the moment so my Giant mini loader is never blocked in at yard. Things like loading ground mats or a few slabs are a doddle with it, but if I have to open a container, move a digger and/or dumper then it's easier to just do it by hand

That's exactly why I've changed things round in the yard, otherwise I'd still hand ball it all.

I've bought a POL to POL hose. I want to use it to fill my baby 3.9kg bottles from larger bottles.

I should know the answer to this .. but never tried it .
Provided they are both designed to the same pressure (6.3bar??) then should be okay.

I’ve tried exactly this and didn’t seem to end up with much getting in to the empty bottle somehow. Not sure if it freezes up, or if once the pressure equalizes the liquid doesn’t flow for some reason?

The 755 is practically a delicate little rose compared to the 860. They actually have gone past the point of being a compact loader. Whilst they are still towable. They are, size wise, competing with far more capable machines.

Soon to be let the robot lift it. These fire doors arent getting lighter have some 44mm atm that seem heavier than the 54mm 1 hr ones. How long till these robots are main stream?

We fitted a lot a few years ago Vacima I think they were. Good doors

1.98lt/kilo of liquid LPG/propane ... just weigh it .. do it in the open air ... Propane is heavier than air so will hang about on the floor

yep - need a full bottle to decant from, but once equalized you'll get no more out the donor bottle
