And here is the reply I finally got from Martin, with the Yanmar that Ruben looked at for me a couple of weeks ago....I
I prompted him for a response, as no reply to my offer ( which was a tad low at £6250 ).

"You were never going to buy it. Hope Ruben got paid for his wasted time."

nothing else .......Bizarre !!!!!

the EX20 is a machine for a different market, no ce plate etc but will still do
Though that may cause me issues with the import to France ...... They do like their paper work to say the least....... Anyway I have messaged the guy so we will see .....

I tend to ignore stupid bids im afraid.

It isn’t worth the hassle / time.

All depends what the gent does for a living, if he sells cars for example he will be so sick of bids in the balls he has zero will to live.

Plant doesn’t feel that dissimilar at the moment :D as if we have the ability to reduce the price say 20% and still make a living and provide a good service , pay the lads, rent, debts, electric… grinds my gears sorry

Probably why it's been for sale for over a month! He probably paid over the odds for it, not realising the towing limits. Hey ho, there will be others.......
I think that TB125 from co plant would be well worth enquiring. I'm pretty familiar with these machines having had 2 of them over the last 12 years, neither have given me any grief and that one looks pretty straight tbh for a 21 yr old digger. Yes it's had a bit of spray paint on the body etc and likely will have the usual Takeuchi movement in the kingpost but otherwise looks genuine and tidy..

I’ve bought quite a lot of stuff on the back of low bids, but always politely explain my reasoning and never see my arse when bids are rejected. They are proposed with a ‘no offence intended, thank you either way’ caveat. No is no, and that is fine.

fair enough if the asking is on the mark .... in this case IMHDO and a few more on here , the bid was at a fair level for the machine
