Hanix H26B, nice machines. Very reliable and drive okay too, just not got the big brand name like others. I maintain several Hanix machines and the lads like them too!

Jesus. Is that really worth the price. It looks like a parts bin special!!
I didn't look at the pix - but do tend to agree .... but as I said, they do have a decent rep Shaun

Can someone who actually owns a digger, dog me a big hole, wait till I jump in it, then fill it back in ...... This is too hard 😂😂😂 Someone MUST know of a half decent piece of kit that will suit me 🙏🙏🙏😝
Good things come to those who wait. Seriously though something will come up but at your budget it's a case of holding on keeping your eye out and being very quick when something does come up. At £8-9k you should be able to get a decent mid 2000s era machine. That old Kubota really is a bit over the hill tbh

took me two years of serious looking to find my duck .. and moving fast when I did ... with a 500 mile round trip to inspect and secure the deal - was a long day!
looked at some dogs and learnt a lot about what I was really looking for, in the interim (y)

as said before/earlier in the thread ... if you only have a week or so's work to get the mayor off your back and although I detest throwing dead money at hiring, it may be your best option for now - "buy in haste, repent at your leisure ":unsure:
your machine is out there waiting for you - somewhere

I know you guys are right......I have been know to be a bit impatient...lol😝. I was thinking it over at 3 in the morning (as you do!). I can hire in for a couple of days and sort my immediate problems.
I will get my "lump sum" and pension in around 18 months. I may well put off a purchase until then, and up my budget, and buy something "right".......
