" The review of LOLER is part of a wider government drive to reduce regulatory burdens, including environmental protection laws that are deemed to have added cost and delays to house-building and infrastructure projects. As previously reported, it is planning to introduce an offsetting scheme for wildlife habitat destruction. "

this is the ''previously reported'' link ... basically a sell out on environmental impacts in large infrastructure projects

" Selling 'indulgences' to offset bat genocide and silencing troublemakers will be key planks of the forthcoming Infrastructure & Planning Bill. ...... Legislation is to be brought to parliament this year to reduce the opportunity for legal challenges and to introduce an offsetting scheme to ‘mitigate’ wildlife destruction. ........ A new Nature Restoration Fund will enable developers to offset their environmental damage. Newts, bats and other protected species will no longer force the bulldozers to stand idle. Instead they will hand over money to pay for some good environmental deed elsewhere "

" The review of business regulations is being overseen by the Regulatory Innovation Office, set up within the Department for Business & Trade (DBT) last October as a new bureaucracy to reduce bureaucracy – inviting comparison with Jim Hacker, the fictional minister of administrative affairs from the 1980s. rotation is on a slew ring, but doesn't appear to have a rotary coupling, so restricted by hoses .. nice little hiab and as said very cheap really -- bloody long trek to Cornwall though

Right leg looks twisted. Nice having the legs on a single hydraulic set up.. easy for repositioning etc. Wonder why it was built? Arb work ?
Not sure it how much it would load and carry . Be easy to tip over I should have thought. Only an hour from me .

Thanks👍🏻
I'd say it's been built fir something specific. Post removal or similar if it was nearer I'd be going to look. Be well handy at the mill.

Cheap base unit for a forklift conversion and sell the crane on!
closer to home I'd be going for a look .. got a fork mast'd go straight on that, that's set up for my Thwaites Alligator (which is hand start and needs work to be usable)
