Good that innit.
Reminds me Was in tyre shop last week...
They do a certain local crane outfit ...had one of the michis off a lieb.
14 of the things on the new one just delivered ....at around £2.5k a pop 😳
40 odd grand on that one  .... 18 wheels ... one of the reasons I never bought an AT (apart from the little Onxy) ... would've taken a long time to recover the cost of tyres on 'em back then -- rates were sh1t compared to today's figures:(

You don't realise how big those tyres are till you see them off and next to a normal wagon tyre. Mahoosive.
Had one that had let go spectacular 😳😳

tyres on this were above the top of my shoulders (bout 5' 6") and you'd have to replace at least one axle's worth if you nadgered one

Good on that crane operator, It's part of the operators job to check parts of the mast and pins as he makes his climb each day, You are also meant to look at ropes for bends/fraing damage, Everything should be reported to the relevant person on site and also logged in the book. I even used to take my grease gun in and grease the slew ring etc.

I read about this I wonder if they had the bricks netted, Or was it a crap pallet that broke up mid air either way they are in the Sh1t! Were they oversailing the pavement too another no no unless you can completely stop the pedestrains while the lift takes place.
