Are you sure about the 4x4 merc with 7tGTW ? That’s not been available to my knowledge . Happy days if it is though , I will be looking for them used .

I got caught when I bought mine positive I asked for 3.5t tow capacity my own fault for not doing du diligenceInfact I just checked directly on dealer website and it says towing capacity is 2800kg… so the rep is talking nonsense as usual!

What was the year of it ? Give me an idea of when they were available . I know that SSE would likely use them up here as often towing cables and minis and in very remote spots . Also scottish water as it’s been an issue of there’s to keep vehicles legal. Will help me find a used oneSpecial order I believe, I`ve seen the plate on one, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the asking

Could see what the 5t versions tow and down grade them to 3.5t and keep the towing capacity.

Last time I downrated a 4.5T to 3.5T the tow capacity dropped as well which was annoying

Tacho is required for towing for hire and reward as not a DPV. Bet that weighs 3000kg empty !

Neither of that sprinters are van based . They both look like they’ve been built from chassis cab . That doesn’t convince me that 7t gtw is available as a 4wd van
