Lashed it down all night, luckily it eased off at 4am when I was unloading/reloading the van- brought a takeaway home with me last night and really couldn't be bothered to go back out after I'd eaten.
Beaten the traffic into town this morning but I don't think I'll beat the weather today

Beating the weather so far- done more in 3 hours than we did all last Thursday.
Partly because we've got the method dialed in but I think a lot of it was down to me getting 4 bits in place before the boys got here at 7.30, so there was no doubts it could and WOULD be done

7 days in Corfu with 25-30 first day back today rained constantly for 12 hours ffs!

Well I didn't get rained off, we called it a day when there was a burst in the road where we were working and it was all flowing into where we was about start digging.

Yeah, builder wasn't impressed either. They were ment to be converting the original building but found too many issues so they flattened it to go again.

They have since learnt that the house extention 4ft away was an 8ft deep dig (not surprised one bit, I know that ground well), I suggested raft...which I think its what the best option is, especially considering there's a great big tree next to it too....oh well, least I'm only paid to dig where they point.

TBF yesterday was an absolute belter. Blue sky v mild after a chilly start. Today is very calm and overcast but mild. No complaints. Tomorrow looks a bit moist though
