it claimed another knobhead in a van trying to get past that car, later in the day apparently o_Oo_Oo_O

forecast light drizzle here last night - all night - actuality was monsoon downpour all night, from midnight on -- noise on the Velux, above our bed was insane ... eased off about six-ish but still coming down
'sposed to be dry from Monday lunchtime on, for a week .... we shall see
mixed bag for the next couple of days :(

First proper cold morning! 3.5degrees on the dash! Sun is due out so should be a nice day 😎
took hours for the fog to shift, but had a slight breeze yesterday and actually saw across the valley for the first time in weeks ... actually had half an hour's sun, but the temps had dropped substantially.
brighter morning today - might get some sun too
'bout bloody time
got three or four drums of leaves and weeds/cuttings/brambles despatched :giggle:
still very still again though

The summer field wife uses for the horses I put a ditch around and land drains into it field due to springs during winter have not been running this year so far and normal start running early September yet they are still not running yet

agreed ... we have a small spring that appears at the edge of our drive, when the water table gets down, after any prolonged dry spell ..
disappeared for a few days, after all the heavy rain, a while back - but not for long and still running well ATM ...
will take some rain to make it disappear again, once the water table has risen, as it must still be low enough for it to be here.
usually appears in May and stops September
ground must be and is pretty dry, really

Just looked back at my pics to check and it's not put anything down of note for 3 weeks here!!!

Ground is surprisingly dry especially with the Frost now

Now we know what the tune will be next spring ..due to a record breaking drought in November we need to implement a hosepipe ban..
