Ive often thought Id like the Wacker VDS for jobs like that- just so your not sitting on the piss all day! Not so bad if your digging yourself level as you go along doing tracks but remember doing a trenching job a few years ago accross some very steep fields and contorted spine the whole time!Things you should really use a walker for, volume 3…
If you’re not digging yourself into the bank on jobs like this you won’t last very long! I put the roll cage back on for this one.Ive often thought Id like the Wacker VDS for jobs like that- just so your not sitting on the piss all day! Nope, I camber them off back into the hill so it's comfy to walk up and I don't go arse over tit in the digger!Do you camber the tracks slightly to run off downhill? I’ve had them wash out when dug flat before now when digging similar (with not enough width for an internal ditch).
