out with Russ this morning ... looked at thermometer as I left at 07.15 ... 9C - I had a warm coat and winter troos on and been stood around in it all morning, feeling chilled ....... and it's ****ing raining

It's been a return to cooler and wetter weather following late June's spell of heat. Can we expect the return of anything warmer soon?

July!!
Went to a school where I do some work on the far side of my patch, ivy severing, bit of pole pruning and bring back a trailer full of Ash for logs.
Did the ivy, got absoulutly soaked in the process, sacked off the pole pruning and I didn't dare add 2 ton of weight into the trailer to come back across 3 football fields!! Just not worth it for a bit of firewood.
Drove home with the heaters and heated seats on full tilt, now I'm indoors trying to dry my gear out a bit before I go out later to take down 2 tents at an event
