The 100k mini in question unless he’s mistaken and the kx60 he’s got new was on the invoice as well lol

I’d not heard of him till he popped up with 2 new Kubotas

I think a lot of people are looking at this the wrong way. Surely it is not about what you pay for your equipment, it is about what profit that equipment makes for you? If you need all the bells are whistles to get the job done or the client insists on them, as long as you earn the return you are happy with that is what counts for me. On the other hand if you buy higher spec than you need and don’t get the return on it you are doing something wrong and will probably go bust.
The issue here is that he’s overstating the cost by about double.

You know I’m not afraid to sign a finance agreement, but the ‘£100k digger’ is frankly bollocks.

Your walker and tilty new is a £100k digger. A Kubota and engcon is not.

1000 hour year

20k tilty setup

10% efficiency on 90% general works(although most videos they’re going slower with all f’ing around)

100 hours at 40ph €4000

——————-

1000 hours

1.7-2 ton £20k digger or used 3 ton with employed operator

£38ph - 12ph operator = 26 x 1000 = 26,000

Someone help me here….

All the attachments must add up to a fair sum as well. I’m still struggling to see where £100k comes from though.

I agree about the Kubota. I find it hard to believe his setup actually cost £100k, and if it did I'll be amazed if he can make a viable return on investment.
