Apparently that Angela Rayner gave Drakeford three mentions at the Labour conference today basically singing his praises so we now we are going to have a car hating deputy PM if they get in next year! Unfortunately I could not comment on the thread as the comment part on the thread had been closed probably due to the high volume of hate replies!

wet old night ... 25 mil of rain in Ginger the stray/ferral cat's grub bowl, since 11.30 last night at 07.30 this morning and a LOT colder ... like 15 deg.s colder than yesterday's temp.s ... proper Autumnal out there ... apart from the fact that the rose trees are all still blooming, fresh raspberries on the canes and fresh blossom on the apple trees?

We have frost on the cars this morning but no ground frost yet. I am in quite a built up area in the south east though.
My wife is pestering for heating on but it's 19degrees in our living room and 17.5 in the bedrooms so that's a no.

Massive amounts of serious flooding in Ireland yesterday and apparently East Scotland is due a months worth or rain in 24hrs soon. Oddly calm and mild here in East Lancs, had some rain and wind over night, but nothing too bad.
The Met don't seem to be able to make their minds up when it's going to hit us and how much, every time I look at the forecast they've changed it
