No that’s why I said 1 less on occasions…. Not all setups work for everyone’s line of work, but I think you’d be surprised how much more you’d get out of a machine like mine on your jobs - but you do need a dedicated driver to sit on it, not just one of the lads here and there.
Me toothink the difference here is that Giles does a lot more than just 'dig'
dare say most on here have machines as an additional tool in the arsenal ... some will use them far more than others ... some by a lot .... no question - tilties are bloody expensive, but you can do so much with them, on a big enough machine, other than simply excavate.Me too

Mine was £11500 top hitch, svab and fitted! Buckets and forks were a straight swap for all my old 3cx buckets.. Also its worth à few k when your finished with it so knock that off the initial outlay, mine was £20k - sandwich and 3 buckets.
I remember my mate saying he didnt need a hydraulic hitch cos he gad a lad on the ground could bar the bucket off, then later he told me he didn't need a grade laser cos you just slide the receiver down the staff x amount every meter - he's just told me he doesn't need a tilty cos he bought a tilt hitch, he may be right I don't know ...but theres deff a trend

I'm done spending Jerry so he's going to have to look elsewhere for inspiration, anyhow his lads getting on the sticks so I think the writing is on the wall.
