To be honest no wonder police don’t care so much about tractors.. did a 300mile motorway trip yesterday, in that time i whitened a huge pileup, car pulled in front of wagon and got pushed along, then took out all the cars in either lanes!
For 30 miles I saw the same car in the 3rd lane just sat there the whole time not moving! Plenty of other empty lanes!
Had 2 pricks within a foot of my bumper tailigating me at 70.. then at least 5 folk doing well over 100.. noone gives a crap anymore!

well if plod DID actually prosecute for poor lane discipline it wouldn't take a lot of prosecutions to hammer the message home and word'd get about to use the lanes properly ...
couple of dozen a month, well publicised 'nicks' and most of these hand crankers'd think twice about hogging lanes ....
TBH on anything other than a crammed M/way, you are far less conspicuous travelling rapidly, if you use proper lane discipline.
Stay tucked in and overtake as and when necessary.
Problem is very few people are taught to 'plan' their driving and don't look any further ahead than what's directly in front of their noses.

Very true about planning you're driving, or just thinking ahead, i think you naturally learn to do it when you're dragging a bit of weight about. So often i watch cars coming up to the back of trucks that I've spotted miles back and changed lanes in anticipation

roping hooks should not be used for attaching ratchets to .. especially hook type .. 's what the chassis or raves are for unless there are eyes to hook them to

Eagle eyes ..... at a glance I'd thought delta type ends ...... not enough people realise how little weld strength there is in those hooks
