So what do you suggest I do next please
some where there has to be a PRV in that drive circuit from the Variable pump ... needs finding and investigating ...

mini digger thread on here recently with issues .. turned out to be a PRV stuck open with rubber debris :rolleyes: ....

certainly the easiest thing to investigate first .....
presumably the flow from the directional lever's valve block goes to some form of distribution / flow splitter block/valve, to spread it out to all four wheels ...
could see if there's a PRV in the feed to that??

Delving into a VD pump is a last resort :unsure:

It’s what I do!
Need to make sure the h Forward reverse lever moves everything both ways, and the pedal on your right foot also moves everything!

Just one thing if the machine is off and you put it into f or r should you be able to push the machine because I can

by hand? PRV ... oils going somewhere and doubt you'd recirculate it by hand, but STBC :unsure:

It’s what I do!
Ok so it sounds like the hand brake is stuck in a neutral position but the photos indicate that alterations have been made with the block and bolts and spacers! Or the main relief valve is stuck open, enabling the oil to go back to tank, but as I suggested in the first place the splined shaft driving the hydrostatic pump is no longer driving that part of the trans.

I think it probably has a tow valve, but not sure where! That would create that problem.

pump behind/down stream is working fine though Mick :unsure: ... RV is favorite for me .. failing that pump's 'in neutral'

What is the rv is it a relief valve and where is it located is it behind the pump for the tub ? Thanks
each pump's circuits should have an MRV (main relief valve), in case of some sort of failure in the circuit to allow the pump to 'dump' pressure direct to tank.
some circuits may have their own individual relief valve ... dead ending a cylinder will usually result in the RV dumping pressure to tank as the pump will still be trying its best to make it and has to go somewhere.
individual RVs are normally set 15-20 bar lower than MRVs, which will open if the circuit relief fails.
some where in your transmission's circuits there should be a relief of some description ... which will open and save the pump from catastrophic failure in the event of a 'dead end' situation

Do we know what’s behind the plate with the spaced bolts? If the front wheel motors are “T”d, when the wheels are off the ground and you turn a front wheel, what else turns?

Ok I've just jacket all 4 wheels up and when I was spinning the front wheel one way the other front wheel was going the other way so I did the same on the back and had the same result spin one wheel one way the other side goes the other way so then I wend back to the front I stopped the opposite side wheel turning and the opposite rear wheel starts turning but not as free as the front one it had a bit of resistance I hope this helps gentlemen thanks fishy

OK I'm not familiar with these .... does each wheel have a motor or is it conventional axles with a hydraulic drive motor, much like a duck's set up ???

They are t’d, so back to front motors inline supply, by turning one wheel and the other side turns the opposite way, it’s acting like a diff does when the gearbox is in gear but not driven, ok sorry it’s a long process, but can you still turn the wheels when the lever is put in f/r? And if so what happens?

ok ... so if tee-ed there's no dissy valve to have a PRV in it ... so short of a totally separate PRV block it must be in the F/R valve body ? :unsure:

Unless they have a cross line relief in the pump in case of a lock up, but it sounds like the oil is going through the hydrostatic and back around to turn the other wheel in an opposite direction, ( so turning the pump but with engine stopped!! If there is a cross line relief then this could be at fault.
