What's the e27 like without the extra counterweight? I was half thinking of leaving that off and putting steel tracks on.

Yeah they're all much of a muchness by the time all the bits have been added to make like easier. Tbh I like a stripped down flatbed as much as anything because theyre pretty light, flexible with different machines. a bateson 12x6 is 600kg without ramps so perhaps 650 with and gives a bit more room for either attachments or load positioning them a standard plant trailer- the down side is its more of a faff dealing with ramps and props standsI bought the bateson trailer because it was marketed as light, I think it was something like 580kg. I added a strip of ply to the centre of the trailer and with a spare wheel it was mid to high 600's but can't remember. Split ramps have meant I can't move a roller which is really annoying, otherwise they're great
