4.5 hour drive apparently from me which is a damn shame. Will see if my mate who does light haulage is going near you or @Mogman might be.
You could pop round for a beer though to refresh you for the return journey- just up the road from me. And beware Giles, its 760mm wide on those Kubota's so not quite enough for the smallest of gateways and wont follow your micro it things get really tight.
The expanding tracks be real useful on those barn jobs though where stability would be more important that width and you want a powered wheelbarrow on them steep hills!

Buying problems or potential easy fix, do they have Kubota diesel engine?

These aren't a bad barrow, but they are quite long and that makes turning in tight spaces an issue on the wrong sort of job. I believe you can fit different attachments to them too, pretty sure that one at Hillhead with the mixer on was one of these Giles IIRC?

No this is the smaller one, you can change attachments but much more effort than the bigger c1200 one from hillhead which is 18k base then 7k per attachments so 25k as a dumper but 1.5 tons the bigger one attachments have legs and quick attach fitting on `the c600 it’s an unbolt job etc

We run the 500kg ones of these, they are a PITA. Engines have a fussy oil pressure sensor that throws wobblies if they are overloaded (which everyone does) or are used on anything other than fairly flat ground. They have a park brake, WTF its needed on a tracked machine I don't know, this will jam on as it is a pin that goes through the drive sprockets on the tracks. Tracks from Molson (the importers) are 400 quid a pop for each side, Astrak have just started making them but have a minimum order of 10 I believe, and a month lead time. ***Just realised the one you are showing is diesel, ours are petrol so the pressure sensor may not be an issue.

Most have a Honda petrol which is bullet proof. If you could replace the diesel with a Honda petrol you would be laughing.

It should be possible. My tcp had a kubota oc95e diesel engine with a 25.4mm shaft. I replaced it with a honda gx630 (although a gx390 would have done ) with the same shaft.
Even if you have to replace the drive coupling and pump, their not a lot from flow fit. I changed my one because the drive coupling and pump spline was knackerd

Dunno if it is relevant to anyone on here but I was in Cheshire Farm Machinery yesterday and they have a brand new Slanetrack HT1000 in stock ready to go. Just thought it worth mentioning to you tracked-dumper-fetishist-weirdos. Xxx
