Got the ride on running from.its own tank, starting from its own battery and driving πŸ‘
Gave it a bit of a clean up, no idea what I'll do with it πŸ˜† πŸ˜… swap it for one that can actually cut grass would be the best idea πŸ˜†

After a fair bit of thinking and browsing I've decided to keep my Industrial 203, fit lights, road register it, polish it up a bit, take the crappy front linkage off, fit a new seat and whatever else I think it needs. It's actually really quite tidy and could be just what I'd like.
So when I saw this box of tractor lights and jumble for sale locally for Β£40 I couldn't help but offer 30 πŸ˜†
Great buy- the wheel bolts had an invoice for 11 quid, the work lights are Β£20 or so each and I've seen the Butler rear marker lights advertised for Β£65, with the pto covers similar!
Can't find them in yellow so even if I'd bought new I'd still be having to paint them. Got it all sanded yesterday ready to mask and prime πŸ‘
The only downside with keeping this tractor is it'll need 4 new tyres at some point- the backs are OK but too small so it's a lot slower than my old one (96 on the last picture) and the fronts are just past their best. So that'll be a few quid but it'll make it look so much better πŸ‘

Yeah πŸ‘
Again I was thinking of selling it and putting the money from both of them towards a really nice Industrial or 135 but nothings come up at the right price that I've wanted enough to make it worthwhile.
I'll probably keep it now until I'm in the position to buy something a bit bigger- MF 3090 type thing. πŸ€¦πŸ»πŸ˜‚

Got a coat of zinc on the lights etc, annoyingly I thought I had a tin of MF Industrial yellow but no, I'll have to order one.
Picked up a canvas for the 90, relatively local and a good price. I've got my eye on a frame but it's a bit far away. The guy I bought it off had a really smart 90, just what I've got on mind for mine. The last picture is a print I got at Welland a couple of years ago, been using it as inspiration πŸ˜†

Bit of a find on todays job- the colour struck me as just right for the 90. Took the touch up can home and used the door as a test piece, just what I'm after- not 'army' green but definitely heading that way, I'ddescribeit as khaki grey.πŸ‘πŸ‘ Going to order a few cans from the powdercoaters as whatever they use for their touch up its really easy to use and leaves a great finish.
Crap name though 'tarpaulin grey' πŸ˜† 🀣
Some right waffle in the description but some of it's pretty fitting πŸ˜€

Took the front linkage off this evening, haven't been looking forward to it- it never lined up right and I was very dubious about the chances of getting the bolts back in the threads! Getting it back off was a challenge- had to use a breaker bar, big milwaukee gun couldn't do it 😫😬
Luckily getting them back in was a success- made up some big washers from old lifting plates with a chunky hole in and they all wound straight in, firmed the front up nicely. Had to put some more spacers on one, was bottoming out but I don't know why. Didn't want to push my luck by taking it back out and cutting some of the thread off though πŸ˜… πŸ˜†
Test fitted the headlights, good fit size wise. Think I'll just mastic them in, there's very little space in there for brackets/hands πŸ˜†
Was working in Swindon this morning, didn't have much on yesterday afternoon so I booked a campsite for the night. Got the roof tent, need to make the most of it! Only 15 minutes from the job/M4, great find but bloody hell it was windy πŸ˜†
