Thereโ€™s a bloke in Wales with loads of paint for that sort of job (as long as you like brown!)
I'd say I've had my fill of brown paint, but I haven't finished yet ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜ซ ๐Ÿ˜•
Mistakes have been made, lessons have been learned ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ

Despite attracting the usual collection of time wasters and morons, the ride on mower has sold, so I was able to stop painting things brown for a while and switch to black ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ
One day I'll actually open a can of paint for these doors, not just use up the bottom of the tin ๐Ÿ˜†

Back to the black paint ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ worked out how to mount the fuel tank- not how its pictured ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคฃ
Cut 2 of the legs off, cut and drilled some brackets. This thing is going to weigh twice what it should, but I've bought absolutely nothing specifically for it. The only things I've paid for were 2 timber posts, screws and consumables, but all 'from stock' ๐Ÿ‘

@William127 did I see a while back that you were thinking of looking for a 3t swivel dumper trailer ?
Might be thinking of changing mine as I have a chance at a little tractor trailer with tip and drop sides.
Think I might have said I may cut the ancient dumper in half and make a trailer if I couldnโ€™t get it working, but not really otherwise. Cheers though ๐Ÿ‘

Got the tent stove a bit warm last night, pallet wood and bearers ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ Bit chilly in the roof tent last night but nice enough with a decent sleeping bag.
Stock trailer gets used for scout camps nearly as much as it does for cows ๐Ÿ˜†
Made the school boy error of forgetting the tent ladder for the first time๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿป Luckily I was only 10 minutes from the barn, and a guy messaged me seeing if he could come to buy a mower deck so I popped back to meet him and picked the ladder up at the same time๐Ÿ‘
Saw this fantastic 110 in morrisons earlier, looks like it's been parked under a tree 20 years! Oldish couple in it, out doing the weekly shop ๐Ÿ˜† Very straight, looks like an ex army truck that's had a truck cab fitted later.

In keeping with the rest of the project, I've made a start on painting the generator enclosure. Had 4 spray cans of anthracite grey, and 4 of light grey in the collection, so did everything except the back with anthracite. Reckon I'll need 2 more cans to finish, but it's a colour we use a lot and every job comes with a touch up can so as and when๐Ÿ‘
Thrapston collective sale yesterday, had a good day out. Didn't buy anything significant- decent jockey wheel with a bust wheel, replacement on the shelf from the bulk lot I bought last year so that's sorted, some wheeled racking that I reckon was a display unit for car batteries for a fiver, complete with 13 ton shackle ๐Ÿ‘ Also bought some series Landrover doors, complete and very straigh but unfortunately very rusty in a couple of spots, I'll either turn them for a few quid at Newbury jumble on Sunday or use them as donors for my 90.
Bought a pallet truck for a mate of mine for ยฃ2!! He claims to be scared of them as they confuse him, but he desperately needs one in his workshop ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ Needs a bit of attention, lubeing and oil top up but it works well enough to move my generator ๐Ÿ‘
Took a right trailer load of odds and sods- scaffold shutes I found in a hole, blue racking, pipe tubes, knackered makitas and batteries, pipe off cuts and a little husky chainsaw that I can't remember if it worked.
Dad had a mini water bowser and garden caged trailer that didn't sell- not really surprised unfortunately, too high a price for the type of sale. Still, that was the only thing that didn't sell so not too bad.
Got ยฃ80 for the box of makitas and batteries, none of which work, and 35 for the tin of paint that got so dented by the delivery company that it'll never close- 20 litres of grey oxide needing using in 1 go wasn't much use to me ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜‚

Great day out at Newbury Auto jumble. Sold the doors I bought at auction on Wednesday for a reasonable profit, as well as a mechanics creeper and 13 ton shackle ๐Ÿ‘
Bought a bumper at one end of the row for 20 quid, changed .my mind, sold it at our end for 40, changed my mind and bought another one the same ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ
Also bought 3 of the most rotten defender doors I've ever seen for 20 quid as possible donors, glass etc, stuck them on our stall as I decided I really couldn't be bothered to load them up, got 50 quid for them๐Ÿ˜†
Found an absolutely rock solid military spec door, painted blue but an absolute bargain for ยฃ130. Lots of people were asking ยฃ250 just for a single mil spec door top. Trouble will be finding a second one! ๐Ÿ˜†
Really liked the 90 in the last picture, military but with some aftermarket rock sliders, very smart.
Good day out, took about ยฃ400 which was pretty good as I didn't think I had a lot and I was being very cheap as I wanted rid of a lot of it. Mates took a couple of hundred each too ๐Ÿ‘

Nice early finish today, so when I got back ฤบ gave the auction pallet truck a clean up, adjusted the lowering chain and called my mate to come and pick it up๐Ÿ‘ I've been winding him up all weekend about his mystery ยฃ2 auction buy, he seemed genuinely pleased ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ
Steering box and column back in the 90, burst of enthusiasm after Newbury yesterday ๐Ÿ˜†

In the never ending search for space I've knocked up a very big shelf/tiny mez, over the 90 ๐Ÿ˜† will make pulling it forward a lot easier, and I can use the load bay to store 90 parts only, freeing up even more space ๐Ÿ‘
Filled it with domestic stuff I'm having to store here at the moment ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ™„
Like the generator enclosure and forklift work bench, it's all done with leftovers- I wouldn't have a barn dance on it but I was happy to stand on it to fill it๐Ÿ‘

5 years ago today we finished the 2 day td5 conversion ๐Ÿ‘ looked pretty factory after it was in, ran well bit was a pig to start. Got into the viscous cycle of hard to start so didn't use it, which meant it was harder to start so I didn't use it. Looking back we think it was a 'noisey' starter motor causing interference with the crank position sensor as it always went first go with a bump.
Knew we weren't going to have much time to sort the exhaust pipe so I ordered a decat downpipe, a few fittings and a length of 3 inch stainless. Plan was always to replace it when I was bored of the noise, never got bored ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚

Trying to put the kit together now to do the 90 shows that I got a great buy with the complete engine, boxes, pedal, rad and pipe work as a complete kit, made it a lot easier ๐Ÿ‘

Good day today, got this honda ride on starting and working today for a mate. Last weekend I welded up and reinforced a shaped bracket on the forwards/reverse pedal but then it wouldn't start. Wouldn't even turn over with the plug in. Valves were moving and could turn it over by hand, bit of thought during the week and we decided to take the starter motor off. Buffed a load of internals and all the connections up and away it went ๐Ÿ‘ Just a bit corroded from sitting outside too long ๐Ÿ™„
Then we popped down to the local scout camp, digger apparently not starting. Turned the key, sounded to me like it was dead ending the hydraulics. Quick waggle of all the leavers and foot pedals, turn key, fired straight up ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜† Really nice old digger, rough round the edges but nice and responsive, easily lifts itself on tickover ๐Ÿ‘

Busy day yesterday
Swing away carrier and new door on Harry's 110, and put the tent back on. Door was completely shot, never seen one so rusty so high up! Previous owner has fitted some very expensive billet door hinges, new door closes perfectly first go๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ‘
Fitted the rear door and swing away carrier on the 90, really pleased with it and it's a big lump off the floor ๐Ÿคฃ
Stuck the old 'mower' I bought last year on the forklift bench (one of the best things I've ever made) after an hour or so poking and prodding it was running out of a can ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
It was about then we started drinking....๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
