I bought a marchist one from sfix and it lasted a day have also tried spectrum can anyone recomend a longer lasting blade
Always swap to a metal unless odd cut. A lot quickerSpectrum double 6 was a good blade, currently bought a red one from Toolstation was the cheapest one on there, I don't use mine often the blade looks ok but the 20mm bore is a very tight fit. If your going to be cutting a lot of metal better switching to a metal specific blade, not only cuts a lot quicker but last a surprising amount of time
The diamond blades can also snag In the cut causing chainsaw like kick back. Won't cut you but can give a sprain and a nasty bruise. Failing that they can get jammed in the cut and when yanked out pulls the diamond off the edge of the blade in chunks.Always swap to a metal unless odd cut. A lot quicker
Had a metal blade shatter a few years ago on a 9 inch across the face so so lucky! The diamond blades can also snag In the cut causing chainsaw like kick back. Makes me cringe, especially with the really thin metal cutting discs, they are lethal with no guard! It is utterly beyond me why so many people take the guard off grinders. I hate it. And I really hate when other people take them off my grinders.
Guard was on had a face mask on all day as well as goggles took it off for dinner forgot to put it back on!It is utterly beyond me why so many people take the guard off grinders. I hate it. And I really hate when other people take them off my grinders.

I only ever use the stihl for concrete slabs etc I have had marchist repointing blades in the past and they have been great
What's with Americans...almost wondered if their grinders dont come with guards...Makes me cringe, especially with the really thin metal cutting discs, they are lethal with no guard!
Was that with a good supply of water in the right place
