I’m Dan and I have a tree surgery firm in Cheshire, running various machinery to clear sites etc. Of relevance to this forum is my Takeuchi and Rototilt (fitted by Aiden on here - I’ve since accidentally ripped his beautifully plumbed hoses off and haven’t got around to refitting properly because I cannot for the life of me work out how he had them routed!).
I managed to acquire a bigger tramampoline from a job the other day and the kids were desperate for me to set it up so this is the most recent pic (I’m not sure why it all looks on the wonk but the ground does slope down towards the camera!).

Congratulations Ross, pleased you’ve managed to get it all sorted and bought to life, nice to have it up to date and not left in the dark ages like what had happened to the other one.😊

I just knew that had to be you, Rory. Resistance is useless - one day you will have to come over to the dark side :alien:

We are in theory picking up a old Engcon tilt hitch next month. Then I shall glass the S type off sadly and fit a standard hitch. Costs too much to change 10 buckets over unfortunately.

Ah - the first challenge of the new forum - how to transfer this thread over to the (wonderful) Tiltrotator section - how do we do that, Ross?

Whilst I would love to spend the next few weeks trying to get you to change your mind, your point about the hitch is completely understandable - especially if the tilty is not new. Congratulations on the impending arrival and I'm sure I'll be able to hear the popping of champagne corks all the way up the M5. Let me know if you need anything - information or spares, whatever.

Don't need selling on the benefits of S type. they are long proven and if spec'ing something up it'd be the first port of call. Too much power is lost through crap hitches and poor geometry which is always a bugbear.

But alas I have no S40 gear and nor will I have for a while. After counting this eve we now run around 25 different buckets and attachments between the two 7t machines so changing everything over won't happen. Hitch is at very sensible money so It needed buying. Not sold that it will stay on the machine permanently but I do have a run of landscaping that it will be worthwhile for so worth getting.

I believe around £100 a set from manufacturer + the welding. I can get em made for cheaper and probably fitment down to £200 a bucket but that is still £4k odd to swap over :/

Ok,

Glad to see you all here lads. Old forum was a bit quiet tonight.

Same handle from the old forum I've used a pic of my old Powerfab for the avatar as well. It's long gone, but the name has stuck.

Heck, posting pics is a bit easier. Here's one of the 1294 i did up a few years back... Enjoy.

Doobin,

What depth did you have to go down for clearance on the trampoline?
Been thinking about doing this with our kids one. The perimeter netting is long gone and it would be much safer, and much less of an eyesore.
Did you do anything to rustproof the legs / perimeter ring. The galvanising on these things is not the best.
