Would an engine crane not be a quick and cheep solution to loading an Whacker into van ?

I appreciate it would not move on anything other than good hard surfaces but would it be ok to lift Wacker and then revers van under it?

Not sure how heavy an engine crane is but I would have thought once flat packed it could comfortably be handled by two men.

This has landed in the yard. Wanted to get it straight to play, but a flat battery stopped that till I gave it a charge. Quick look in the derv tank and the inline filter shows the usual crap and water so a full service in order before it goes out. Will hopefully take those bars off as well as they stick out. It’s a BIG lump - fingers crossed it will do what I need now and again for next year on the new shed project, then it’ll get sold on.
One big fly in the ointment is that the handle height adjuster is absent so the handle sits at knee height. Hopefully the seller will sort out - they’ve been very communicative so far, so fingers crossed. A wedge of plywood and a cable tie will get over the issue temporarily. Otherwise I’ll be moaning like Frick and on the phone to WN dealer next week.
The machine was allegedly fully checked over by the mechanic before it was sent out?

Thanks to @Storrsy for the link.

It just a bolt isn’t it with a rubber bush on the end?

Re the connecting arms You’ll need to swap the bolts for shorter ones that’s what I had to do when I took mine off

Don’t be tempted to test it on any concrete or tarmac etc get it on loose stuff before you try it

Mines a slow starter even with fresh battery don’t think they have a glow plug
