My Volvo ec25 (2004) slow putting blade to the ground but very fast lifting it back up.
It also has no power to lift the machine off the ground.
Cable adjustment is fine

Am I looking at seals in the swivel joint? Or has anyone seen this before?

Thanks

or blade ram seals ;) - easier first option - edges on the one motion side may have let go

We have a similar issue on both of our TB175's

Crap builds up on the breather side of the spool (opposite side to where the cable goes into the hydraulic block there is a cap)

Clean that out. It might work.... Beware of components within (springs etc).

used to get a similar issue with Old JakieB in the cold weather - water'd get in the caps and freeze - bit of warmth and it'd free off - IIRC there was a breather hole in the caps'd let it in

Tried swapping pipes at the spool bank, problem just switched to the opposite way that the lever was being pushed/pulled.
So the issue is in the spool slice. Need to investigate further.
Maybe can get the pipes put onto another spool slice like the dipper arm swing and test it to see if it works- this should really narrow it down.
Will keep update.

You have narrowed it down enough. Strip the spool, I think you’ll find the remains of a seal wedged inside.
