Sany price to follow

Yes the Sany track frame is wider but it is a 20 not 18 so it’s bound to be a wee bit wider.
The Sany do only offer one size dipper but it doesn’t look that long in the pics . Engcon use would be occasional as it will predominantly stay on the kubota . The Sany has more powerful engine.

I’d look at any other dealers with something to offer . Especially recommended on here . Volvo dealers very local and also JCB but I’m not a fan of the yellow perils . I’m happy to travel to buy what I want though .
They are 3t money, been weighing up options for what to do in regards to going tilty
Had a price for "under 25k" for a sany sy26u and a price for a JCB 26c at £29,675 for twin aux and quick hitch prep, bare stick, live link and 3 services (standard 26c is £28,250 with 3 services and buckets)

It sure is a good time to buy a new machine if you need one!

You know Sany now do a SY26c supposedly more planted than the U version which was noddy I believe. Sany dealer close to me whatsapped me the other day asking if I want a price for one!

Taking a leaf out of Bobcats book with the reduced tailswing I see.

Should up the engine power whilst they’re at it.

I wouldn’t mind a go in an SY20, see how it handles.

Yeah curiosity is getting to me with these sanys I must say. But little things like I'm looking at the track pedals in the SY26 and thinking the angle of them looks s**t to me. If there's collectively a lots of small features that are done bad badly to live with then that would outweigh any financial savings .

I’ve been looking into them and they are improving all the time .
These are the pedals in the SY20C
I like the flatter angle and the lugs on the side so you don’t need the whole of your feet on the pedals . ( like the bigger Hitachi’s)

Boom base looks very ‘bobcat’- my e19 is similar.

Re pedals- bobcat pedals are simply brilliant. They fold up for amateurs and for proper drivers who use them they are the most comfortable ive used without making my own.

@CPS offer of a cetop kit looks pretty good value in that case mate. Barely run in.
Had a price from summit for just over 2.9k supplied or 3.6k fitted. Problem is engcon reckon a ss9 (4 pipe, hydraulic hitch and aux to run grab) is 9.7k plus vat including 1.2k fitting fee for the electrics (although can't see what sort of work there is as it would need the proportional controls being already fitted) and the full fat version is 13.4k

Can you manage with just the basic manual hitch model? Think that’s around £7k.

The electrics will be a divertor to choose between grab and tilt. Probably the hitch also. Sort of half a control system. It’s the sort of thing you can do yourself though. Or do you really need to run a grab under it? I prefer a dedicated grab and rotator.

To be fair, at 3.6k to fit the extra services you almost may as well go for a tilty with control system. You’ll soon forget the price one you start using it.

They are all just much of a muchness. Buy on what you like..and if its what you like, cost is less a thing to be upset about.

I personally like cat, always had cat minis, til the neuson versions and then didn't like the price difference because its was over 6k difference to bobcat/doosan. Last year I bought a new next gen 301.8 for a fantastic price. Bloody lovely machine to use. Still have the dx19, it's not a bad digger at all, goes out as much as the cat does...tho i prefer the cat.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything. Depends how they use the power.
The 2 sanys I have driven where fair enough. Nothing to write home about but equally nowhere near what the Facebook hero's put them at. I would say they are the perfect machine to buy for someone else to drive. This can be aid of many brands though. The 8t I drove needed the check valves adjusting, can't really put a machine down for that it's really a dealer issue. And the 13t had no secondary latch on the window so could sometimes rattle down, not a problem unique to Chinese machines. Both where Comfy with decent cabs. The 8t was streets ahead of Hitachi for comfort and probably slightly ahead of Kubota.
The Facebook contingent seem to think the 2.6 sany is really stable but not sure what the greater verdict Is.

There is l a nearly new 1.8 lugging on eBay for £12k
