Floor paint or sealer .
I’m looking to do something to seal the floor , I’d rather paint it but I do t want paint that peels off . I’m not going to etch it or sand it I want a surface that doesn’t need that . It’s quite nicely power floated . I want to seal the dust . I’ve seen some paints that say they will work with a new floor like this. I’m wary of them though . Thinking more of a 2 part power floated floor sealer . Any recommendations ?

Get a metal blade for festool hk85 saw
Think prob still to fast really...plus it's being discontinued.

Proper job like the Milwaukee or evolution is way better. The way they deal with the chips etc is different.
I cannot believe the amount of stick that Andrew has put his big Milwaukee one through doing the roof for his castle!

I'd go with a decent floor paint like Paint/floor master ... easy to redo as needed as whatever you put down will need touching up occasionally

Nice one bud , that looks like a decent product that might do the job . Says it needs an undercoat first so I will give them a call and see if they can supply that as well
used to used Floormaster paints in parts of my workshop floor and held up well

We got a bit more done on the shed this week . Had a few jobs to do as well so didn’t get a full week at it . Also had a day we needed to abandon because of high winds 😳 we used the evolution saw with the new blade and that worked well .

I find that a thin disc is so quick cutting that it doesn't generate enough heat for anything to stick.
I like being able to get a constant gap between cuts that the expanding foam nozzle comfortably fits into to achieve a full even fill 🙂
Not a DeWalt fan per se but this is one heck of a decent tool. Been trimming sheets with it. Slitter and she flies through it. Sommuch nicer than a heavy 2s.
Trick is dry sheets. .then blow any swarf off...wet and it sticks and is a right pita

Workshops finished now ! I will post pics up in next couple days when I get home in daylight .
Need to think about venting and heating now . Just now I’m getting a lot of condensation on the roof light sheets . I’m pretty sure this will be the moisture coming out of the slab . I’m going to put a dehumidifier and fan in for a while but I need to think about what to use to heat it I was wondering is there a diesel heater that can be connected to an outside tank and that can be vented out of the building . Also wondering what the infrared diesel heaters are like . I would consider a stove but I want something more controllable maybe even working from WiFi would be good .
Any ideas ?

Single skin Roof lights are the bane of a building always have hassle with ours 😕.

Goot a decent source of wood? Look at big stove? You didn't put ufh pipes in the end did you?

Double skin roof lights . No UFH
I wish I did now ! I do have a source of timber but I also would like a heat source that I could fire up remotely if I need to use the place in an hour , or to for a bit background heat when temps plummet

Matt from diesel creek has got a really nice setup...under floor heating and then a big log burner boiler out the back.. does his house as well!

What about a big diesel heater. They can be remote start I think and a big one would take the edge off before you are there to light a fire.

What sort of diesel heater ? Infrared ? I’m thinking diesel / kero is the way to go right enough

That would work. Or you can't beat a big calor heater for quick heat and not expensive to buy...just run 😆
