CTR 2 and CTR3
How much ?
I can't find the email, I know I definitely had a price for them as seen them posted up before in the tilty thread. If I remember correctly less than 1k in it plus you would have to install yourself at that price verses the 9-10k (no buckets and year or so ago) of the rototilt/engcon fitted

Looks a lovely setup, I sat in there machine at hillhead was very impressed with it as well
Sturdy looking undercarriage and blade. The yellow bits look a bit plastiky but could overlook that. Didn't Volvo have a habit of snapping booms a while back. Hopefully that's been sorted.

Is that not illegal?
My thoughts exactly...eu anti competition laws cost a few firms dearly..but now what I'm not so sure. If your keen I'd stick your foot down and state you'll speak to CMA.
In fact actually thinking about it. It's not far off a cartel if the next area dealer has agreed not to price you...
Friday night thinking 😉

Yes it is but what do you do.call the competition police.illegal under eu law.or was prior to brexit but was over 5 years ago.had the same problem buying tractors on farm too.if you want a certain model and brand you pay what’s asked or go without,if buying new anyway.we will continue to get screwed.

Think you'll find it depends on the suppliers framework, ownership etc.
Can have all the framework and agreements they want but if colluding together or refusing to sell to you means you have no option to buy elsewhere hence higher price fixing then it's not on technically...but good luck getting anywhere. Festool was a smallish cash rich family firm ...they knew they could nail em. Try that with a larger apple type setup...

Problem is the dealer can get fined for selling out of area, this is set-up with the manufacturer/distributor.
It also leaves a bad taste if they are caught doing it after being told not to.
