I’ve toyed with having some kwik firm type scaffold the newer one with circles instead of triangles but again it’s heavy stuff and need clear area in yard and stillages etc.
Take this job for example, (red netting) NT job Tennant house. Submit all paperwork and schedule, book scaffolders in with 6 weeks notice let tenant , trust and my stone lads know start date. 3 other jobs to do so they start mid point of this one and again so 3 Tennants notified of cascading starts.
Comes to week of scaffold no scaffolders, next week we’ll be there promise you. Don’t show, they were 4 weeks late and has big knock on and makes you look like amateur.
In town I’d have pick of 6 firms but not out in sticks.
Single lift half arsed attempted at debris netting, no clip covers on threads etc, they didn’t even supply ladder till I whinged.
£900 plus vat for 4 weeks bonkers.
Lift no good here as front garden and pointing but this other job spraying lime render could be done off lift they were weeks behind on this one as well and I had to net it as they didn’t do it.
