These posts always flashing up on my feed, I must spend too much time looking at them. Always of interest. This chap was either lucky or unlucky, just not sure which. Longer trailer with the weight further back he would have been okay on axles, but blatantly over 3500kg on trailer. Longer trailer and or buckets on the back of the Grafter would have made it almost legal. Is that a tilty or a road saw on front of trailer?

I’m gonna guess they have about 10 drums of water in the back… could have let them rejig, drain water off, knowing next time they will most likely do it by the book!

I see that as the 4380kg is the vehicle and nose weight. He was always going to be in trouble as I bet if he unhitched the trailer he would still be over. The trailer makes it look better as he cans 3500kg payload but is probably less than 3000kg

I dont quite get this. From what I can see in the trailer that's surely nowhere near overloaded. It's the truck they're refering too?.

Back to what I said before... no way that legal set-up can be "safer" than the example that @doobin posted a while ago with the triaxle and bobcat on it... just because its legal... doesn’t mean its right

Is this pic an example why the whole thing needs a proper look at? From a quick glance that's a legit setup. 90kg over GTW is the only issue which would be as someone pointed about a tank of fuel or a few 20l jerries etc for the cutoff saw.

I though this until I realised it's a 1.6t machine on the trailer not 2.6t machine therefore the van is running the best part of a tonne overweight. And on the single tyre axle. So a little bit naughtier than first glance.

Does anyone else watch videos like this and wonder how the whole of Europe aren't dead.
After all the health and safety meetings I've sat through, where they have told me how dangerous everything is. How can the whole of Europe, not have died in horrific industrial accidents.

Ever considered what European construction sites must be like? Do their lads fall down all day long being electrocuted?

No I thought not and yet we still insist on 110v crap.

Roll on cordless stuff

Having seen a few sites around Europe i came to a few conclusions. Common sense I think plays a huge roll in it! and possibly a No claim culture! One guy told me that if a guy trips on a site he jumps up straight away before someone sees it.... not sit there hoping for a claim.
