Can you rivet them together, its what we do with the cast iron ones good bead gutter sealant then rivet them but they are generally on rise and fall brackets

No, that’s the problem with plastic. It has to be able to move and slide on the couplers (I always replace the seals and grease them). If you rivet them together the whole line will just warp and twist when it gets hot. The problem here is that the brackets pivot also, so joints regularly pull apart.

A high modulus silicon can sometimes work as a halfway house- not too much, and hope that it can stretch enough. Underneath the joint- the seal still does the sealing.
