No, that’s the problem with plastic. It has to be able to move and slide on the couplers (I always replace the seals and grease them). If you rivet them together the whole line will just warp and twist when it gets hot. The problem here is that the brackets pivot also, so joints regularly pull apart.

i have a tmk300 i dont use ..Bastard job. The hazel stools need to be saved and cut down low, so instead of pushing them over and piling them up I’ve been ripping the tops out and then cursing trying to cut the stems without my chain coming off.
Went and got the 462 with a 20” bar, it’s much better than picco chains for this.
Did I mention there’s an old wire fence in places too?

It's been one of those jobs where it makes sense. Access is a mile up a Storrsy style Lane. I have been here before with the 175 but that was a job that needed it.
Trouble with tree shears is you still have to get down low and cut the stool. Also not sure how well they’d handle multiple small stems.
It was the Storrsy kind of lane that became the stumbling block the 2nd time I was asked to quote it

Ripping with the grab is much quicker for most of my jobs.
Traditional shutter or pecafil depending how bad it gets.
Going to see how it goes but potentially going to shutter and back fill it, some will be virgin on one length apparently got a couple of 1.5m x 1.5m pads to do as well
