What are the calliper sliders like?
Absolutely perfect, I was shocked how free they were.

I've never come across a bent caliper before. I'm assuming some form of defect in it, or something serious has happened to it.

It wasn't binding, no noises til the metal on metal yesterday and you can see where its rubbed through the friction material on the thinnest part of the pad.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Had a metal on metal noise from the new to me citan van.

Pads looked fine enough looking through the wheel but further investigation showed otherwise.

Caliper isn't right and as such pulls the outer pad on a strange angle...

So one new caliper on order and a set of pads ect.

looking at the first and last pic I'd say the caliper legs're bent ... pad is parallel with the piston in the last pic

Will they push into a pile of 803 easily enough to get a fullish bucket? Can't imagine they really have enough weight behind them🤔
Lift the bucket as you drive in and they are fine.
Piles of clay etc 4 in 1 is great for that

Don't complain - suggest what's better
@Grahams I might look at the bag lifter if they make that much of a difference?
Yes, they make a huge difference. Where all the loops are on the one hook (even if you use a short strop to achieve this if the bags are very full) the centre of gravity is bought back closer to the machine and is lower as the boom is right down compared to suspending the bag on forks.
I had a fixed version, but the adjustable is much better, although a little heavier.

I'm on "site environmental awareness training scheme" today and can honestly say it is the most boring load of bollox you could possibly imagine. Designed by people who genuinely 100% believe that electric diggers and plant nappies under a parked dumper are going to save the world.

Because they have shares in the company that sells the plant nappies and silt busters etc!!

Glad I avoid all that bollocks
TBF was just wondering this morning at hire place he's got everything under the sun tracked mewps the lot and will happily hire anything out to me. Never asked to see a ticket ever...
I've got CB forklift and scissor and that's it. Not renewed scissor as I can prove I'm competent...and it's our own site. Fk em when I looked into it there's no legals on any of it...just proof of competency...which most firms take the easy way of paper waving.
I toyed with doing 360 a bit back ...lad I know old school said 300 quid and a Saturday morning...maybe a bit more and all day if you want both up to 13t.😂😂
Some folk are getting their trousers tugged.

Makes you wonder who benefits from this ticket crap.
Ah well . My lads just passed his driving test. Help us 😳😳😬

Some of the courses are informative. Some are interesting. This is just crap. Boring. The trainer has the charisma of a wet sock.
The subject and contence is tosh. And whoever came up with it clearly has their tongue up the environment departments arsehole
