Had a metal on metal noise from the new to me citan van.

Pads looked fine enough looking through the wheel but further investigation showed otherwise.

Caliper isn't right and as such pulls the outer pad on a strange angle...

So one new caliper on order and a set of pads ect.

Absolutely perfect, I was shocked how free they were.

I've never come across a bent caliper before. I'm assuming some form of defect in it, or something serious has happened to it.

It wasn't binding, no noises til the metal on metal yesterday and you can see where its rubbed through the friction material on the thinnest part of the pad.

looking at the first and last pic I'd say the caliper legs're bent ... pad is parallel with the piston in the last pic
