Couple from today's activities- start of a 3 day install on a holiday inn in Docklands, nifty remote control crane, good driver and slinger, all landed in the morning and 90% of the steel frame builtπŸ‘Œ
Lot easier to get home from that side of town, so headed down the yard to drive my new to me 1 ton dumper from my mates bit of yard to mine and stick it in a container πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ
I've done well with this dumper🀞🀞🀞- mate bought a job lot of gear, including the dumper, from another guy we know. Wanted to move the dumper on straight away, I was keen.Known it for years, been cared for and not used a huge amount, 'sweetspot' age wise- new enough to be easy to drive, presentable etc but old enough not to be rammed full of safety sensors, self beeping horns, digital dash etc πŸ€¦πŸ»πŸ€¦πŸ»πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Went to start it on the day we did the deal a couple of weeks ago, starter motor and battery had died!! 'No problem mate, sold it as a runner, I'll get it sorted' . And he has πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

What got me was the noise of the β€˜Traffic Light Grandprix’.
For those not in the know most of the scooters are 150cc and often have aftermarket exhausts.
The scooters all push in at the front of the other traffic at the red lights.

When the lights change the scooters have to give it full beans to get away first and avoid being squashed by the bigger vehicles. One morning I counted about 40 scooters in front of our car.

You feel the noise. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
