You can induce a current with a genny but its hit and miss.

Really for helping find a water pipe or similar in the future when you know roughly where it is.
Yeah induction is ok if you know where it is to begin with surprised cat scanners don't have a metal detector mode where they pick up any metal without a signal thay could be handy- perhaps the modern ones do but mine doesnt

I didn't see doobins reply first.
Its not so much locating it in itself in a big area, it's more for locating all services in the area you are going to dig if that makes sense.

If you buy the radio detection kits now they now come with the cat scan, gennie and a metal detector

Was £1200 when we had one on hire but that's 4 years ago now.

And yes, they don't take waste, just tipped as you say on site
I’m only going on what the driver told me - it’s not his truck though!

Not sure how much this is per day - I’m guessing a lot! Also working on the same site -

E27 at 300 hours already so in for service. Not a major one just engine and track oils. Also changed a faulty light, cleaned the cab, shimmed up the boom and hitch, pressed straight the bent bracket that holds the aux hoses, welded on a lifting eye, changed a weeping quick connect.

Old solid forklift tyre and rim made a cracking tilty holder.

Hey Doobin do you do your own servicing on the new kit? How does that work with warranty?I have a service agreement on the 3cx but the quote for our Yanmar first service was so high I did it myself at the expense of the warranty.
