How do you get a signal into it though if you don't know it's there
Yeah induction is ok if you know where it is to begin with surprised cat scanners don't have a metal detector mode where they pick up any metal without a signal thay could be handy- perhaps the modern ones do but mine doesntYou can induce a current with a genny but its hit and miss.
Really for helping find a water pipe or similar in the future when you know roughly where it is.
Wow that's cheap.I nearly went into these about 10 years ago.. taken off big time since.. can’t imagine they only go out at £60/hr

I’m only going on what the driver told me - it’s not his truck though! Was £1200 when we had one on hire but that's 4 years ago now.
And yes, they don't take waste, just tipped as you say on site
I was thinking I can smell it from here but I guess it might have a french aroma?View attachment 65634
Hmm customer didnt want it leaving in the ground.
I thought you still need a compressor to work with the smaller units.
did you watch this fella from the link in your link? This was working on site today uncovering HV cables (which are everywhere!)
used to have a couple that came into my yard for fuel - ran on red, back then, had all the exemption paperwork from RDCO, Newcastle ... they'd get through 250l a day - more sometimes .. on 6 wheel chassisThis was working on site today uncovering HV cables (which are everywhere!)
assume you have a cheek/pick up set welded to the wheel's rimE27 at 300 hours already so in for service. Not a major one just engine and track oils. Also changed a faulty light, cleaned the cab, shimmed up the boom and hitch, pressed straight the bent bracket that holds the aux hoses, welded on a lifting eye, changed a weeping quick connect.
Old solid forklift tyre and rim made a cracking tilty holder. View attachment 65635View attachment 65636View attachment 65637View attachment 65638
Use their genuine oils and filters. They can’t stop you. I always send photos of the service in progress.Hey Doobin do you do your own servicing on the new kit? How does that work with warranty?I have a service agreement on the 3cx but the quote for our Yanmar first service was so high I did it myself at the expense of the warranty.
