your ability to transport your machine is the biggest benefit of all - yes there is the additional costs/hassles/etc. involved in the truck's ownership - BUT !!
it makes it work and the incidental convenience for other related things must be fantastic ..:giggle:
Pity is here, all the shite that goes with that convenience :(:(
Yeah ok im finally going to stf up about it because the same rules dont apply in uk as here and im sure a few on here want to tell me to do one :) ....been here that long I forget we live abroad , or is it you lot :)

Todays and tomorrows but I hope not thursdays job is replace this tank that has succumb to the forces.
Decided to put the new tank in another spot as old one is deeper by about 40cm and pissing water back in after being emptied so we might never get a good bed.

Cut top and fill it with sand compacted in layers - we have taken them out and taken them to recycling center.
Its dry ish tbf but came some rain last week.

Nothing around it apart from rock and compacted material, CAT didn't pick it up, using a toothed bucket boys spotted it well.

Not so lucky on the pipe rock sitting over the top crushed as it was scraped out. Pipe looks like nothing has ever ran through it. All fixed 225mm clay pipe isn't cheap!

I pulled a sparkley one the other day. Fortunately there was enough slack on it, so not too bad.

I was digging in very stoney ground but it was taped...but they literally had spiralled the tape around the cable.

Nothing around it at all, and the pipe when we uncovered it had all the bedding on 1 side
