It certainly saves a lot of hard graft and time, only used it about an hour and a half there but probably saved 4-5 hours of hand digging. Was clay as well so maybe more.

I hope you dont mind just out or curiosity to see why it might have done two pictures i edited the post so it only had one picture. I was thinking it might have removed the pictures alltogether but it seems they duplicated, I will look at this when i find time :) liking the volvo btw

EDIT I can see how this can be done i think.

Little bit of fence line clearance. The mini just about picked those lumps up. On a leyandii job today so will get some action shots.

You know when the phone rings and you're asked for help with something. Need to move a container but dont have a crane? No problem - do it chuckle brothers style "to me to you" with a forklift with no brakes and a JCB well past its sell buy date. No banksman, just mobile phone radios. Gotta love farmers:sneaky:

Got my new E10 the other day. So my op has been on that whilst I've been doing my speciality- small scale felling and burning. Started off like this
2018-10-20 09.38.44.jpg

Got it knocked over and burnt up
2018-10-20 15.46.18.jpg

Bit more to do along the bottom fence now the I can get the truck in!
2018-10-23 09.41.06.jpg

f**k it, entrance is too tight, I've clonked the gatepost with my truck again :ROFLMAO: I've quoted and had accepted a new entrance plus gates, was waiting for the posts to be milled but let's get the entrance tidy to make life easier. These put up a fight
2018-10-27 16.12.36.jpg

So much so that this happened whilst riddling through with the grab:rolleyes:

Luckily I'm a pretty good fabby, so after four hours in the workshop, quick quick and f**k the paintjob... You can see where a stress crack had developed and then the ripper finished it off. Not enough metal in this boom, Hyundai need to up their game. Anyone else think 3mm box is up to the job??

So back to site Sunday, and got the entrance done. God I love this digger. So smooth and powerful even with the tilty on. An absoloute beast of a machine, so long as Hyundai keep improving it where it fails (new dipper is on the way) then I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It's made me it's purchase price treble in two and a bit years easily. The undercarriage has fallen to bits too, apparently there's a problem with the early machines (mine is number 270). So I'm getting all that replaced under warranty next week as well. Apparently it's a new improved version (taken three bloody months to get here ffs),which is encouraging, but I've yet to receive a written assurance from the manager of Earnest Doe that this is indeed the case. Despite all these problems, it's everything I could want in a 1.7 tonner with the extra counterweight, it just needs some more metal in the right places. Now they build for CHN they're going to have to up their game.

Few more trees to come out along the fence. Plenty of timber for their log burner. Have since winched the last ones over.
2018-10-23 16.56.45.jpg

So carry on clearing thirty years of overgrown Leylandii hedge, plus twenty years of garden rubbish being dumped under it. Just my kind of job. Customer is over the moon. Going great, thought I'd just stack the fire up for the evening

And some prick calls Trumpton
2018-10-29 17.24.18.jpg

f**k off boys. They insist upon damping it down a little. Lesson learnt- old biddys get scared when the see sparks, despite the fact that it's been twice as big all day but you can't see sparks in daylight. So, now it's first light, I'm off to site with a f****ng loud chainsaw.

Oh, and here's the Bobcat

Er ...... tha's a big N O from this dept..... pretty s**t :(:(.... HTF did you manage to break it in that direction???:confused: oposite of what you'd expect???
It would be the bucket ram pushing the dipper, proberbly had his thunder on so it’s fighting itself
I had a similar situation with a project 8 Jcb on the tele dipper the tip link would hit the dipper but the ram had a bit more travel, could see it flex on full stroke

You know doobin fair play to mate, not everyone is willing to post so candidly when s**t like that happens, good on ya. I always think the most important thing in these situations is how the dealer/manufacturer look after you, and it looks like they're sorting you out.
I wish I could say the same for my jcb dealer, all in all a month to get a set of filters and several unreturned calls, and the price of the feckin things😩 I dread to think what they'd be like if I snapped a dipper, probably be expected to park it up for six months.
They've pissed me off that bad over a set of filters I'm seriously considering swapping them both for doosans, as the dealer is 5 mins away and really on the ball.
Hope the bobcat serves you well, they're a good little tool them e10's 👍
